A walk in Gibsons in the Sunshine

I love walking along the beach and warf in Gibsons and checking out all the unique local shops and checking out the amazing food from the local restaurants.  Here are a few photographs as I took a walk along the warf last month.  I hope you enjoy the photos and can understand why I love walking there so much.

Roberts Creek Beach on Christmas Day 2011

On my way to Christmas dinner, we got stuck in a short line up due to a downed tree, so I took the opportunity to take a few quick photographs of the sun setting as we walked along the beach in Roberts Creek.  One thing I love about being on the coast is that everyone always chips in.  When the tree was in the way no one waited for someone to come out and fix it, no one screamed or shouted or were upset; they simply rolled up their sleeves and pulled out a few chain saws and fixed the problem.  It was a very short wait thanks to everyone pitching in.  We had an amazing day and this was a great start to the evening.  I hope you enjoy them too.

Porpoise Bay & Sechelt Marsh

These were all taken behind my new home on the Sunshine Coast.  Some are from Porpoise Bay and some are from across the street from it at the Sechelt Marsh.  Both are wonderful and peaceful places for me to visit and I always enjoy a stroll through both.  I hope you enjoy the photos! There will, undoubtedly be many more photos from these locations to come in the future, so keep your eyes peeled!

Winter Storm in Snicket Park

One of the winter storms that hit us in January up at one of my favourite local spots to shoot, in Snicket Park.
It was raining heavily and we had 80kmph winds and I was the only one out on the beach that day.  It was amazing and powerful.  I hope you enjoy some of the photos from my storm filled walk along the beach.

Valentine's Day Flowers

A few photos of the flowers my roommate brought home on Valentine's Day for us to enjoy.

My Last Few Days in Alberta

A few photographs from my last few days in Alberta before I moved, staying at my friend Kathy's home out on acreage .  It was beautiful and peaceful and utterly relaxing.  There will be more of these photos to come, but for now here are a few shots from my last few days in Alberta before moving back to BC.  Enjoy!

Mountains at Sunrise

A few shots from the trip I took when I moved from Alberta back home to BC
Jasper is simply stunning and hitting it in the middle of winter at sunrise was simply breathtaking.
I will add more photos soon from this trip - but for now here are a few photos for you to enjoy!
